Lachlan House is a modern example of a traditionally built timber framed home. This magnificent new-build dwelling house was designed by Thomson Hunter for a private client and incorporates an impressive green oak frame.

The structural oak frame is visible throughout the interior and exterior of the house, and allows the incorporation of modern design features such as a full height glazed gable providing natural light and views across the Ayrshire countryside, as well as opportunities for flexible open plan internal spaces and layouts.
