In early 2016, Thomson Hunter was engaged on a private client project to design and build a swimming pool extension for a home in Troon.

The client brief called for maximum use of daylight and the incorporation of additional features such as shower facilities and a sauna. The resulting design employed a structural green oak frame to add character and provided additional mezzanine space combined with a full height glazed gable, high specification fixtures and fittings, and a contemporary spiral staircase.
